Nats Celebrate Huge Comeback Win By Showering Dan Uggla With Chocolate Syrup

 

Huge win for the Nats after falling behind 9-1 and then 10-2. Kept chipping away and chipping away and then Uggla took a ball to 436 feet for the go-ahead HR in the top of the 9th. The Braves booed him all series and he shoved it right in their face. And it is so, so great to have Denard Span back. He went 5/6 and scored 4 runs tonight. I love watching him play. An all around great player. When your number 6,7,8 hitters go 7/12 with 8 RBI, you’re going to win more games than you lose. Hopefully this is the game they realize “hey, we don’t fucking suck, we have tons of talent, we just have to utilize it” and turn the season around. All uphill from here for the Nats as they only get healthier. And maybe they can find another arm for the bullpen too. That’d be cool.

 

PS: Yea AJ Cole got knocked around a bit in his major league debut, but he wears number 69 so he still wins.
